BOOK DONATIONS REQUESTED A.C.S. Sundari
We are a small group of people, who appreciate and love the oriental culture, and who decided in 1993 to found a Cultural Association, with the purpose to bring a veritable contribution in consolidating the intercultural relationships between the Orient and Romania. Our headquarters is located in Pitesti, a town of 270,000 inhabitants, situated to the north-west of Bucharest. The name of our Non-Governamental Association (NGO) is "Sundari". To call upon our purpose, we have established a public library, which is meant to contain valuable works from the inestimable oriental civilisation and culture. There are some published books in Romania which are part of this treasure, but their number is insufficient to justify a library centred exclusively on Orient and it's culture. ...if we don't dare too much, can we hope that you may have some used or deteriorated books which you do not need anymore? And, if you do, can you mail us something? We hope that, with your support, our chances to explore more deeply the spiritual reality would grow, and that it would be inspiration and hope for many others who are yet to come into our sphere of awareness. You may contact us at: sundari_romania@yahoo.com Many sincere thanks. |

A blind person reports from near death. Near death experience (interactive), Hieronymus Bosch painting This is a most interesting account, brought to my attention (by private email) by our friend Mohideen Imbramsha. I show it here because of the power of the message, of a blind woman who sees. The other side may be more beautiful than anything we can imagine, but there is no hurry to press time. We all have our roles to play in this life first, by choice.
quote:I had a feeling like I knew everything ... and like everything made sense. I just knew that this was where ... this place was where I would find the answers to all the questions about life, and about the planets, and about God, and about everything ... It's like the place was the knowing.
Knowing, that is what it is all about. Make use of your life to know. There is more light on the other side than we can imagine from this side. All in due time, someday we too will see it from here. The religion of the "Great Misunderstanding"
quote:“Islam is often misunderstood,” Muhammad said. Why, I wonder? Why are we not constantly exhorted, day after day, that Christianity, or Judaism, or Hinduism, or Buddhism, or Scientology are “misunderstood”? Why only Islam?

Truth is what we can understand, because true. Lies will always remain beyond just the reach of understanding. The subterfuge layers of lies will forever evade discovery as truth, so they will always be 'misunderstood'. If a religion is built up of truths, it will be understood innately. But if not, it will always be 'misunderstood' of necessity. Such is the great travesty of false religions to cause humanity untold suffering. Great human sufferings of history are plainly understood as simple truth, caused by false beliefs. If a religion is always 'misunderstood', and its followers are always suffering, what does that mean? Who is the Great Deceiver? |

"Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?" King James Bible: Matthew 7:16 Whilst the soul will flourish in truth, it will wither if torn by thorns of lies. A religion of lies is not a religion of truth. Religious-cults are to be followed blindly, not understood. Only the truth can set your soul free before God. |
Ivan/why Stonehenge?

Was Stonehenge a healing center? They came from far and wide to seek healing at Stonehenge, which is now believed to have been erected circa 2300 BC. The large blue stone megaliths were dragged from 150 miles away, which seems to indicate they were believed to have strong magical powers, most likely of healing. (interactive -BBC & video) Profs Darvill and Wainwright believe their ideas hold true
quote:Professor Wainwright added: "Was the Amesbury Archer, as some have suggested, the person responsible for the building of Stonehenge? I think the answer to that is almost certainly 'no'. "But did he travel there to be healed? Did he limp, or was he carried, all the way from Switzerland to Wiltshire, because he had heard of the miraculous healing properties of Stonehenge? 'Yes, absolutely'. "Tim and I are quite convinced that people went to Stonehenge to get well. But Stonehenge probably had more than one purpose, so I have no problem with other people's interpretations."
The Stonehenge site may have occupied since as early at 7200 BC. The fact that such a great 'temple' was erected by early ancestors is truly amazing. (interactive) Stonehenge and skull What did they really believe in? Was it a spiritual center for healing? Evidence seems to show that it was that, foremost, and perhaps for other purposes as well.
